School is nice: I go for hybrid and I thought I would get lost, but I was okay. A lot of clubs are having virtual meetings, and I contacted the jazz band director to see if I could audition, and he said yes; but even he isn't sure about how it is all going to be like 😹

Taking all honors classes isn't as hard as I thought it would be, even if there is like a paragraph or more due every week for either English, social studies, and even science. Spanish is easy. I'm really liking science, math, and social studies so far.

In science we are learning about Newton's Laws with force, impulse, momentum, free body diagrams, and all of that. I found this Mark Rober video that relates to it which made me even more interested. Something about how to fall from the sky safely without a parachute. It basically utilized air resistance and drag.

Math is cool because it's basically brushing up on what I learned last year in 9_3 Alg II in RSM. The next half of the school year will be fun because it will be about Trigonometry.

In social studies we are learning about the French Revolution. It has a lot to do with guillotines. It was cool how a bunch of hangry women could end a corrupt absolute monarchy (Women's March to Versailles).

Also, I take this class called "Applied STEM." I never really had any background in it, but yesterday, I entered a code to make this tiny robot to play "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." I decided that my project in App. STEM for this semester will be to 3D print a ball-and-socket joint and a hinge-joint and to make a model of the hand with the phalanges, metacarpals, carpals, radius, and ulna to represent how a hinge joint works and how muscles pairs (with the flexor and extensor) can make it move. There are no muscles in our hands; the muscles that make out fingers move are in our forearms. I will use a rubber band to represent the tendons and strings to represent ligaments. I hope it will be pretty cool :)

My math and orchestra class is full of sophomores. Sharing my classes with people in different grades is interesting, but last year, for math, my class was made up of kids in my grade taking the same math class as me. However, because high school means that you can be in classes with people in different grades, we were all mixed up and put into classes with people in the above grades.

Alright, thank you for reading this! 😌 I hope that one day I will look back at this
