For Tomorrow
A 501(c)(3) Nonprofit
Each year, Raisa aims to have at least one big volunteer project to make small differences in this world. Leading others along the way, Raisa continues on her tradition to leave her legacy through For Tomorrow.
2022
Volunteering at Rajshahi, Bangladesh Montessori School
Raisa was invited to volunteer at the Montessori School in Rajshahi during her Bangladesh visit. There, she interacted with the students, helped them, and read to them. She met humorous, bright students and learned a lot from them.

2021
School Material and Toy Donation Drive
Raisa's cousins from Bangladesh informed her that schools were not running because of the pandemic, and many students lacked adequate school supplies. So, Raisa made flyers and contacted the South Windsor town hall, library, and community center to host a school material and toy drive. The donor response was unbelievable: over 2,000 donations including books, notebooks, and stuffed animals were accumulated. For Tomorrow volunteers distributed the materials to schools and orphanages in Bangladesh, and leftover materials were donated to Connecticut Children's and the Chrysalis Center.

2020
Winter Material Donation Drive
Due to the pandemic's bestowal of unemployment, many people were out on the streets during winter. Raisa hosted a winter donation drive within her neighborhood by distributing flyers and gathering donations from boxes she placed beside her mailbox. Over 300 donations were accumulated and distributed to the Salvation Army and the Friendship Service Center of New Britain. From here, For Tomorrow was born.
